Whilst hunting for a large old wooden 1/2-symbol to print with, I enquired to an old type collector/printer upon where he told me how they used to print one, using a large 1 and a 2 with a piece of wooden rule between. The print evolved from here.

This print celebrates a very English Euphemism for sneaking in a quick beer (half pint).
Quite possibly one of their more sensible English past-times, especially when partaken during office hours!
